28 days later

I went to the Indianapolis, IN 5th saturday requiem game last night, and let me tell you it was awesome.  There were about 20/25 people in attendance, and most were engaged in some way or another with either the main plot, or socializing.  This was also the first game for the new storyteller.  Margaux is still young, and has to get better at micro-managing but she has great potential and will become one of the better ST's in the area with a bit of time. 

There were several travelers in from out of town. Some from as far away as Toledo, Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio. There were some interesting developments the most unique developments was when there seems to be a mortal in the midsts of the vampires who seemed to know just to much about us. Upon inspection, it was found to be a possessed moral, and before the ritual culminated, the mortal was sadly destroyed and the spirt may have fled. 

My character, kept to the social front most of the night, talking, mingling and schmoozing with the few people he could. 

The Requiem venue always offers a wide array of things to do, unique people to meet, befriend, exploit, and watch epic fail.  There are Social slayings, where words are the peronss undoing, and they cant show face again. There are puzzles and enigmas to solve.  There is somtimes strait up combat against outsiders, or sometimes other players.  There is no "Stereotype". There is only your imagination, your ability to create, and a love for an interesting time.

Muncie Camarilla

So, i went to the Muncie Camarilla games on saturday, and let me tell you. The were very intresting. 

Changeling started around 1 p.m. and there were around 15/20 of us. My character was not central to any of the main plot, and spent most of the night learning more about the city, and changeling life.  The night centered around the return of the exiled former Summer King of the freehold, who was see to be attempting to harm other changelings, and members of this freehold, and seen to be a danger to us all.  There was plotting, and planing. Nothing went quite as wanted.Finally he was tracked as he returned to the bar we had started at. Sadly he was killed for his actions. During the melee the bar was completely smashed after he in is dying breath incited bedlam in his attackers.  

The changeling game ended, and many of us went out to eat lunch.  I was with a small group who went to The Pita Pit, then to Scotty's Brewhouse. Good times were had bay all.  

Then came The Requiem, and let me tell you it was something completely diffrent My pc was out most of the night, and thusly I got to watch much of the plot and things unfold.  There was  were man intresting things that went on.  It started with a praxis seizure  by an Invictus Gangrel, and the fights between his faction, and the Former holders faction lead by a gangrel Carthian.  There was alot of verbal wrangling, and it ended with the Invictus being the prince of the city of Muncie.  Things were smooth after that, and fun was had by most. I personaly had a great time. After the game a group of us went to Ihop. We unwound, and had some pancakes, talked about nothing and had a good time. 

I love being in the Cam. 

The Diversity of the Camarilla Fan Club

From 18 year old new players in college to the 40 year old career gamer, the Camarilla fan club has us all. We are parents, students, gamer geeks and the beautiful people.  We go hundreds of miles to play the games that we love. The Requiem, Forsaken, The Lost, and more.  We are poised for a giant event at Gencon. Then in October is our permier event ICC. The Power of the Internet

Wikipedia, Google, Amazon, Ebay. All sites on the interweb that generate a ton of income.  I am going to start trying to use this to my advantage. I have found that i am good at going auctioning for items that are ebay worthy.  Wikipedia has masses of information. Google, amazon and ebay all sell itmes or services you may or may not need.  Google is also good for helping others make money. Hell, I keep google ads on this blog and soon my other sites.

Late Nights, and Little Sleep

So its 3 a.m. in my area, and I am just home from a Cam Requiem game.  I am so tired, but i did have a good time. Sorry this is just going to be a short post. I need sleep.

Scammed on Craig's List

So, I found a great deal on Craig's List.  A Powerbook G4 1.5 ghz. 310 bucks. Had all the software i would have wanted, and everything. It was perfect. So i email the seller  She says its cool, she is un the uk, and will ship it to me.   

This is where it all went south.  We started the process, and she was going to use TNT shipping and a Western Union payment method. I should have known then something was wrong.  

I followed all my instructions, sent the payment, and alas, all i find out is that from TNT shipping that i got scammed, and the Craigslist/TNT shipper thing is a total scam from the uk. So i am out 300 dollars.

So I really like the Camarilla Wiki, because it contains a bunch of useful information on the game i love so much. Requiem, and Forsaken to of course.  There are hundreds of Wiki pages devoted to the people, the groups, and the rules of the Camarilla.  If you want to go check it out to see what some of this Requiem thing is like go to, Cam-wiki.org

New and Intresting ways of making money.

Why the world has to be ruled by currency and capitalism ill never know, because it just might be a blight on free trade. 

On the side, I am running for the VST (Venue Storyteller) for the local werewolf game.  Werewolf is in the same union as Requiem, and it is very fun. More combat and action oriented than Requiem it makes a good change up if you like that kind of thing.  

Everyday the world is different, everyday the world will change from now till the begining of the new way.

Muncie Requiem Larp

I went to the Muncie Requiem game on saturday the 14th of june, and i had a wonderful time. As My PC (player character) Damien, entered play, He talked to several members of His covanant, and a few other members of the City.  After a few short meetings, there was the Grand Hunt. An Indian Bull Elephant was brought in.  Several of the Gangrel Clan had decided to flight foms, and track the elephant, a calvary contingent lead by Lord Foxe also was tracking the beast, with several more on foot.  Damien started on foot, but caught up with the calvary and mounted Johnny Stones horse.  Moments later, with the Elephant in sight, and charging us quite rapidly, the mounted contingent scattered with a loud order from Lord Foxe.  One of the most quited kindred in the area then Shattered its mind with there clan power of Nightmare. At that point the elephant stood stock still, and was surounded from the gangrel on top and the mounted patrol from all sides. It fell quickly at that point.  Several of us took trophy from the beast, Foxe took his heart, Prince Riven took one end of one tusk, and Damien took the first foot and point of another.  

The was one thing that went poorly during the hunt, but it was not anything that had to do with the hunt itsself.  One Mr. Fairchild decided near the begining of the hunt that he would try to sppk the horses that the mounted contingent was on.  He failed, of course and was then lassoed by one Ms Roseline Wilder, who then drug him for several hundred yards.  Then, she took the time to show him kindness, and bring him up ont the back of her beatiful black stallion, who she informed Damien was named Lu, short for Morning Star.  This Mr. Fairchild then took it upon himself to try to throw Ms Wlder from her horse.  Ms Wilder then bashed him in the face with the but of her shotgun.  

Now at the culmindation of all these events Damien confronted Mr. Fairchild, and after some words were exchanged Mr. Fairchild called in his Minor Boon, and made Damien kiss his boot.  Damien laughed that off, and took his thoughts to Prince Riven.  Asking the prince for permission to beat Fairchild into torpor, the long sleep.  He agreed, but provisioned that the land owner would give me permission.  The hunt was being held on land belonging to one Mr. Sebastian Ainsworth De Villain. Damien asked him, politely, an odd thing for Damien, and offered a Boon to seal the deal.  It took some talking, but Daimen got his permissions, and then set up the fight.  He got Ms Wilder to get him out side,with some help, and then one Bob (last name unknown) turn the fight into a circus.  I wont go  into any details about the fight, but  let us say that Damien won the fight, and if you where there, you know.  Shortly thereafter game was called.  Then we had a chairity auction for our chapter, and the Farmland, IN Conservation club. During the auction, i bought a My Lil' Pony for my daughter.  I left after that, but the total for the auction was $500.  All in all the night was a total success for the Middlewhere Chapter, Muncie, IN.

So we finally got our tax rebate from good old Big.. um Uncle Sam.  We are so pleased. Now we can get our garden finished and get that new computer i wanted.  Apple Computers are the only way to fly, and if you want a good look at one go to www.mac.com.

Slow and Steady...

Here I sit, just having had a wonderful dinner of spiral sliced ham, baked potatoes, and a caesar salad. My wife made the ham, and I made the salad and the potatoes.  We are slowly putting our new house together, and are very happy.  I am looking forward to making this a great summer, and who knows, it could be the best one yet.

The Bird and the Worm

If its not one thing its another with this Sparrowhawk, first it's getting a new house, then its turning on all the utilities.  After that, its more crap dealing with either dumb old friends that wont give a guy a break, or trying to make new friends out of my neighbbors. Its hard for a sparrowhawk these days. 

The Begining

So i finally made a blog, and now i think i will use it for all kinds of things. All my fave things i guess. Like LARP, Food Fishing and my kids.
